Currently, Magnus Recruitment Solutions seeking “Wall and Floor Tiler” in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide , Tasmania and Perth.

About the Role

The Wall and Floor Tiler will be responsible for preparing surfaces to be tiled, select, and cut tiles to fit, prepare and apply adhesives, lay tiles, and apply grouting and sealants. The individual responsible would also inspect and interpret plans, prepare work areas on floors and walls by removing old tiles, and waterproofing tiles with specialised products and techniques.

About You

The ideal candidate would a professional and energetic individual who is motivated to go above and beyond and seek out up-coming opportunities, as well as being organised, reliable, ethical, and honest.

Essential Criteria

*Hold a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (CPC31311) or equivalent qualification.

*Possess a Construction Induction Card (White Card).

*A current driver’s license.

*Experience in a similar role.

Desirable Criteria

*Have a Working with Children’s Check.

*Access to your own tools.

*Required licences and accreditation to work as a Plumber in your state or territory.

*Exposure to takes not commonly encountered in their day-to-day work.

*Consider specialising, such as becoming a flat roof specialist or metal roof plumber for commercial buildings.
